What does “Adopting” a foster family provide?
By ‘adopting” a foster family, you are ensuring they are members of FLFA and the benefits of being “adopted”. These benefits include a membership to FLFA, access to legal assistance when they need it, motivational support, and free admission to Foster Family conferences held by FLFA. We also provide *NEW placement needs.
When you “adopt” a foster family, you will receive a letter with information about the family you are supporting, and updated information as we get it. You can do this on a monthly or yearly basis and options of one or two families.

What this does not provide

We do not provide financial assistance such as paying for utilities, groceries, education, and etc. Each foster family receives a boarding payment to cover these items and reimbursements, which we are well aware of.
